Cochineal Dyed Yarn
Explore the beautiful range of pinks, reds, and purples that can be created with cochineal. In this hands-on workshop, we'll work with this traditional insect dye to create a vibrant collection of naturally dyed yarn.
 
Each participant will receive 200 grams of the yarn of their choice, prepared for dyeing. We will explore how different dyeing techniques and color shifts can transform a single dye source into a varied palette, creating a beautiful collection of naturally dyed yarn ready for your next knitting, crochet, or fiber project.
 
Included: 200 grams of the yarn of your choice, prepared for dyeing.
 
Skill Level: Beginner-friendly. No previous dyeing experience required.
 
Our facilities include an air-conditioned classroom, bathroom, and abundant outdoor work spaces. Please dress comfortably for an afternoon of standing, sitting, and brief walking. This class will take place primarily indoors. 
 
Coffee, tea, and treats will be served. 
 
Cancelation Policy
If you need to withdraw from a workshop, a refund will be issued, minus transaction fees, provided that notice is given at least 4 weeks before the workshop date. If shorter notice is given, we will issue a refund if we can fill your spot. You may transfer your enrollment to a friend at any time.
