This February, we’re celebrating shades of pink, red, purple, and the beauty of insect dyes. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore the rich range of colors that can be created using cochineal. Participants will dye ten 10-gram skeins of fingering-weight wool yarn—enough to knit a cozy pair of socks, gloves, or a similarly sized project. All materials are provided—bring yourself and enjoy a relaxing day of creativity!
 
Our facilities include an air-conditioned classroom, bathroom, and abundant outdoor work spaces. Please dress comfortably for an afternoon of standing, sitting, and brief walking. 
 
Southern-style tea and treats will be served.  
 
Cancelation Policy
If you need to withdraw from a workshop, a refund will be issued, minus transaction fees, provided that notice is given at least 4 weeks before the workshop date. If shorter notice is given, we will issue a refund if we can fill your spot. You may transfer your enrollment to a friend at any time.
