As green slowly returns to the landscape, let’s celebrate by learning how to create a full spectrum of greens from natural dyes. From soft and subtle to bright, earthy, and deep tones—we’ll explore them all! In this workshop, we’ll work through the dyeing process from start to finish using cellulose fabrics such as cotton, hemp, or linen to build your own green palette. Each participant will leave with one yard of their chosen fabric, dyed in beautiful shades of green. All materials are provided, and you’ll go home with fabric perfect for small sewing projects, quilting, slow stitching, and more.
Our facilities include an air-conditioned classroom, bathroom, and abundant outdoor work spaces. Please dress comfortably for an afternoon of standing, sitting, and brief walking.
Southern-style tea and treats will be served.
Cancelation Policy
If you need to withdraw from a workshop, a refund will be issued, minus transaction fees, provided that notice is given at least 4 weeks before the workshop date. If a shorter notice is given, we will issue a refund if we can fill your spot. You may transfer your enrollment to a friend at any time.
