Explore the many ways to use garden-grown botanicals as natural dyes! This workshop is perfect for beginners and anyone curious about how to grow and use botanical color in an approachable, creative way.
We’ll dye a half-yard of fabric in a rainbow of colors, leaving you with beautiful samples perfect for small sewing projects. You’ll also learn a simple method for using fresh-grown indigo as a dye. Together, we’ll walk through the garden to gather plants, then explore adding designs to our fabric through plant hammering.
This will be an inspiring day of hands-on discovery and color—an ideal experience to share with a friend!
Coffee, tea, and treats will be served.
