Create your own natural inks using plants, minerals, and even mushrooms—perfect for hand-painting holiday cards or adding a unique touch to your artwork. In this workshop, we’ll explore a variety of ink-making techniques and recipes, including dye-based, lake pigment, and mineral inks. You’ll learn how to select the right extraction method for almost any natural material you wish to turn into ink. Our focus will be on achieving rich, concentrated, and long-lasting colors that make your work stand out. Participants will learn to create inks from foraged and cultivated sources and will take home six 1-ounce bottles of the inks made together in class.
 
Southern-style tea and treats will be served.  
 
Cancellation Policy
If you need to withdraw from a workshop, a refund will be issued, minus transaction fees, provided that notice is given at least 4 weeks before the workshop date. If shorter notice is given, we will issue a refund if we can fill your spot. You may transfer your enrollment to a friend at any time.
