Explore the art of making soft chalk pastels from earth and plant-based pigments. In this hands-on workshop, each participant will craft a curated palette of colors while learning about natural pigment sources, binders, and hand-forming techniques. Together, we’ll explore ways to incorporate this medium into your art practice and enjoy a relaxing day of creativity and making.
 
Our facilities include an air-conditioned classroom, bathroom, and abundant outdoor work spaces. Please dress comfortably for an afternoon of standing, sitting, and brief walking. 
 
Coffee, tea, and treats will be served.  
 
Cancelation Policy
If you need to withdraw from a workshop, a refund will be issued, minus transaction fees, provided that notice is given at least 4 weeks before the workshop date. If a shorter notice is given, we will issue a refund if we can fill your spot. You may transfer your enrollment to a friend at any time.
